Just a Quick Post to Let You All Know...

I know it's been a million years since I'v e posted, but I'm working my way back to a regular post schedule. I had to have surgery on my shoulder because of the fall. I'm in physical therapy now and while my range of motion is SO much better than it was, I probably won't be back to myself until next March. They say it takes about a year to recover from shoulder surgery. *Booo-hisss*

Even though I was able to type roughly three weeks after surgery, I kinda fell into a mild depression and didn't start writing again until a couple of weeks ago. I was worried about money--being on disability--worried about all the work that would be waiting for me when I got back to work, and even worried that I wouldn't fully recover.

I have to say that I've been blessed with an awesome doctor--his personality is as dry as desert sand, but I didn't need him to tell me jokes, just to fix my shoulder and he did just that! My physical therapists are awesome as well, even though they kill me three times a week.

So, now, I'm back to writing, back to reading for friends, and getting ready for vacation in Orlando starting Saturday!!! Can't wait to visit the Harry Potter theme park!

It's good to be back. Talk to you guys soon!

Wow, Karen! An entire year to recuperate from shoulder surgery. Gosh. It didn't take me that long to get over a brain aneurysm rupture! So sorry to hear about everything you've been through, but glad you had a great doctor.

Good to hear that you're back to writing. Have fun in Orlando. I'm jealous that you're going to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Hope it's as wonderful as it sounds.
